Bookstores, bars, universities — public readings are great.
But there’s also room for a cozier, less orchestrated way of introducing readers and poets to each other.
When traveling to give readings in places where I’ve got friends, friends of friends, or friends of friends of friends, I’m going to give the salon model a try. We’ll gather in a home, have snacks and beverages, read a few poems, and then chat.
I’m not sure what more to say here… but contact me if you’d like to talk about this or to set up a more traditional reading or visit.
